Runway Room x Everest Carnival Fashion Lunch

Last week Runway Room were proud to be the Makeup Sponsor for the Sydney Everest Carnival Fashion Lunch. The team headed to Royal Randwick and whilst the weather wasn't saying Spring Racing... the fashion most certainly did!
Showcasing the beautiful Rebecca Vallance collection, as well as raising some much needed funds for Spinal Cure Australia, the show was an amazing success.

The brief: fresh glowing skin - our specialty! Using our hero products, we prepped the skin with First Base Hydrating Primer. Packed full of 2% Hyaluronic Acid and Kakadu Plum giving the skin an injection of Vitamin C, perfect for hydration. White Sapphire leaves the skin with a beautiful pearly sheen, so this is the perfect product to awaken the skin.

Using our Mineral Cream Concealer, we evened out the skin tone and brightened around the eyes before applying our number one foundation, Face Base Luminous Liquid foundation. With ingredients such as Rosehip oil and sodium hyaluronate, this collagen boosting foundation refines skin texture and leaves the skin with a radiant glow. To finish the base off, we pressed Mineral Loose Powder foundation over the top.
We created definition with our Bronze Mineral Stick through the jawline, hair line, and cheeks before we moved on to everyone’s favourite blush - Peach Punch. We used the Cream Mineral Stick to achieve that glowy, dewy finish. To highlight - keeping with the Cream stick theme - we used ICE Cream Highlighter stick on the high points of the face.

For the eyes, we kept them simple but defined. Creating a little depth with Summer Kiss Bronzer and Peanut Butter Loose Dust throughout the socket and into the outer corners, as well as along the lower lash line. To finish, a sprinkling of Skinny Latte Mineral Loose dust on the mobile lid and Power lash Mascara to volumize the natural lash.

Brows were kept simple using our mineral pressed Brow Powder, and lips were primed with our Lip Prep. Featuring peppermint oil, menthol and avocado oil, Lip Prep is the perfect product to moisturize the lips before your lipstick application. We finished the look off with a stain of colour on the lips with Boss Lipstick, our creamy matte rose hue lipstick.

A stunning, fresh & glowing face, paired with beautiful colourful fashion created a perfect combination.
